AVA amp Privacy Policy

In simple words

  • AVA amp reads product information (title, price, sales rank, size) from the Amazon or retailer page you open, so it can calculate profit for you.
  • It never reads your passwords, payment details, orders, messages or browsing history.
  • Product information is saved without your name, so every student can see price and rank history.
  • We never sell data or use it for ads.

1. Who we are

AVA amp is a Chrome extension made by AVA Classroom PH (VA Chris & VA Mitch), General Santos City, Philippines, for students learning Amazon product sourcing. Contact us through Support or the email on our website.

2. What AVA amp reads

  • On amazon.com product, search and storefront pages you open: the product title, brand, ASIN, UPC/model, Buy Box price and seller name, number of offers, Best Sellers Rank, category, rating, size and weight, and the "bought in past month" note.
  • On supported US retailer pages you open (for example Walmart, Target, Home Depot), or any page where you click "Scan this page": the product title, price, brand, UPC/model and image link.
  • AVA amp only reads the page you are looking at. It does not open other pages by itself and it does not read pages in other tabs.

3. What we store and why

  • Product data (ASIN, price, rank, offers, size, the time it was seen) is saved on our server so students can see price and rank history. It is not linked to your name or email.
  • Your access key and its expiry date, linked to your AVA Classroom account, so we can give you the free month and your paid days.
  • A daily count of lookups per key, to keep the service fair and stop abuse. It is deleted after 31 days.
  • On your own computer (Chrome storage): your access key, your settings (prep fee, target ROI) and the supplier product you are currently comparing. You can remove these anytime by removing the extension.

4. What we never collect

No passwords, payment or card details, Amazon or retailer account information, orders, messages, browsing history, location, or any data from pages you didn't use AVA amp on.

5. Other services

  • Cloudflare hosts the AVA amp server and database.
  • Keepa: the price graph image is loaded from Keepa's public graph service using only the product's ASIN.
  • Links you click (Google, Walmart, Keepa and others) open those websites, which have their own privacy policies.

6. How long we keep it

Detailed product history is kept for 90 days and then reduced to one point per day; it is deleted after 2 years. Your access key record is kept while you have an AVA Classroom account. Ask us anytime to delete it.

7. Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 you can ask to see, correct or delete your information. Message us through Support. See also our main Privacy Policy and Terms.
